The Manager of Legislative Services & Municipal Clerk is responsible for performing the statutory and administrative functions of Municipal Clerk under the Municipal Act. The Clerk is responsible for conducting municipal elections, and managing municipal records, as well as Council and Committee secretariat duties. This position provides leadership to the Clerks department and to all staff members on matters related to parliamentary procedure and legislative protocol and performs duties under the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (MFIPPA), among others as well as supervising staff in the Legislative Services area.
